This Privacy Policy explains how the Saudi-Uzbek Business Council (the “Council”) collects, uses, stores, and safeguards personal data submitted through this platform.

1. Data we collect

We collect contact details (name, email, organisation, country) and any information you choose to share through the Express Interest, contact, registration, or login forms.

We collect minimal technical data (IP address, browser, language) for security, anti-fraud, and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to respond to your enquiry, evaluate your interest in published projects, register you for events, and communicate Council updates that you have requested.

Submissions to the Council are routed to the responsible Secretariat staff and the relevant project sponsor. We do not sell, rent, or share data with unrelated third parties.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on your explicit consent (forms with consent checkboxes), the legitimate interest of the Council in fulfilling its bilateral mandate, and applicable data protection laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

4. Retention

Form submissions are retained for up to 5 years for audit and bilateral relationship management purposes. Inactive investor accounts are automatically anonymised after 3 years of inactivity.

5. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion, or export of your personal data at any time by contacting the Council Secretariat at secretariat@subc.org.

6. Security

We use TLS-encrypted transport, hashed credential storage, role-based access controls, and audit logging for all administrative operations. Data backups are performed daily and retained encrypted.
